Alexander's single-variety grappas are produced with marcs derived from a single type of grape. The Italian grape varieties have been chosen to fully satisfy the palates of distillate connoisseurs. Alexander is a name that over time has developed a prestigious reputation in Italy and around the world.
Cabernet, both Franc and Sauvignon, was imported into Italy from the Gironde region of France at the beginning of the last century. Since then it has become firmly established in Italy, especially in the Veneto region. Its juicy black grapes produce an excellent marc that yields full-bodied and fragrant grappas. Alexander Grappa di Cabernet is obtained by discontinuous steam distillation in stills.
