The spirit is distilled from molasses and charcoal filtered then aged in only American white oak for up to 3 years. The rum is rich for its young age and is best served neat or on the rocks. The nose is full of toasted oak and banana and one the palate shows spices, molasses, and some fruit tones. The finish has plenty of oak and is semi-dry with some vanilla tones. This is good rum at a very fair price.
