Big Creek Kolsch is a delicately balanced beer style originating from the Cologne region of Germany and brewed according to Reinheitsgebot. Jekyll uses only barley, hops, water, and yeast under cold temperatures to give the style a crisp, dry quality. The ale yeast, which is unusual for a beer that is fermented like a lager, contributes to a fruity and slightly tangy taste along with “pear” characteristics.
